In Remembrance

It's seems that even over my small life span, that the impact of Pearl Harbor diminishes some in people's perceptions and life - a lot like D-Day also. I suppose that as the vetrens finally pass away, so do our feelings of reverence and honoring. However, I try to remember the sacrifices and valiance of my grandfather's generation, marked by the initial events on a Hawaiian December day. I hope that I still do them all justice.
It's a good reminder of the values we live for and the price with which our freedoms were won.
